Less Process, More Health, Please.
Processed foods have been widely implicated in promoting gut inflammation and contributing to a variety of chronic diseases. The disruption of the delicate gut-blood barrier is a significant concern arising from the consumption of these foods. The hyper palatability and convenience of processed foods have made many of us unwitting victims of cravings that can have adverse effects on our health.
The root of the problem lies in the methods and additives used during the processing of these foods, which can interfere with the natural chemistry of our digestion. Opting for whole foods provides a stark contrast as it allows the body to process nutrients the way it was intended to. With the appropriate balance of fibers, moisture, vitamins, minerals, and other essential components, whole foods support our bodies in maintaining optimal health and function.

At Affinity, we make most of our sauces. We squeeze our own lemon juices which is the base for our mayonnaise and ponzu. We use produces in their original form - whole vegetables, fruits, fresh meats (our meats are organic and free range); and we let the produces shine by using little sauces. We are happy to leave the sauces off the plate if you wish so, as we ourselves often do so.
