Our Scoring Rubric — with disclosed weights

Step 1 — Real-money account creation
We sign up at every casino using a Florida home address and a real US-issued ID. We complete KYC verification on day one (passport or driver licence + utility bill). We do not use shared accounts, paid testing services, or industry-supplied review accounts. If a casino flags or restricts the account during KYC, that is logged and weighed against the trust score.
Step 2 — Funded deposits, two methods
Two deposits per casino in the current test cycle:
- $200 by Bitcoin — tested for confirmation time, fee, on-screen credit speed.
- $200 by Visa or Mastercard — tested with three different US-issued cards (Chase, Wells Fargo, local credit union) to capture FL-bank approval rates.
Casinos that refuse FL-issued cards or process them with a 30%+ decline rate are flagged for the “Banking Depth” weight reduction.
Step 3 — Bonus playthrough
We claim every available welcome bonus, then actually wager it. We track:
- Wagering multiplier (e.g. 25x deposit + bonus) and time to clear.
- Game contribution percentages (slots 100% vs blackjack 10% vs live dealer 0% — varies wildly).
- Maximum bet cap during wager (a common trap; usually $5–$10).
- Max cashout cap if any (offshore bonuses commonly cap at $1,000–$5,000).
- Whether the bonus is “sticky” (deducted from withdrawal) or “non-sticky” (kept).
Step 4 — Game library + RTP spot-checks
We play a minimum of 50 games per casino across slots, table, video poker, live dealer, and specialty. RTP is spot-checked against the provider’s published number using a 1,000-spin sample on a non-jackpot slot. Any casino running a configurable RTP (some Realtime Gaming titles ship with operator-selectable RTP modes) is flagged in the per-casino review.
Step 5 — Withdrawal timing (the only test that matters)
After bonus playthrough, we request real cashouts. Two per casino:
- BTC withdrawal — the time-to-cashout headline number. Logged in minutes.
- Card / wire withdrawal — logged in business days.
The cashout must arrive in our wallet or bank account before we publish the review. We do not publish reviews based on “pending” states. If a casino stalls or rejects the cashout, it is removed from our rankings regardless of marketing strength.
Our Reviewers
Two people sign off on every Florida casino review:
- Michael Torres — Senior Casino Analyst, 12+ years in US gambling, former South Florida casino floor manager, FL resident since 2015. Runs steps 1–5 above.
- Sarah Mitchell, JD — Compliance & Regulatory Editor, Stetson Law (2017). Fact-checks licence, bonus terms, and regulatory claims on every review.
Carlos Vasquez, our Sports Betting & Casino Analyst, leads sportsbook-side reviews and live-dealer scoring. See the authors hub for full bios.
What We Don’t Do
- No fake reviews. If we haven’t deposited and withdrawn, there’s no review.
- No paid placements. Affiliate rank is determined by score, not partnership level.
- No anonymous bylines. Every review is signed by a named reviewer; the author hub has a verifiable bio.
- No undisclosed weight changes. If the rubric changes, we publish the change here with the date.
- No AI-generated reviews. Real people, real deposits, real cashouts.
